We are delighted to be working in partnership with Scrap Car Comparison, one of the leading vehicle comparison sites in the UK. Alongside their everyday work, Scrap Car Comparison raise incredible amounts for charity: since March 2016, they have raised hundreds of thousands for over 30 charities making a huge impact, all through their Donate-A-Car-Scheme.
Every month, they feature two different charities which their customers can support. They split the month in half, giving each charity dedicated time where their customers can donate some – or all of – the profit of their scrap vehicle to their charities. They typically raise an amazing £5,000 to £10,000 for each charity during their time as Charity of the Month!
During the first half of May 2024, from the 1st – 15th, we were a featured Charity of the Month! With your support of their Donate-A-Car-Scheme during those two weeks, meant they could raise enough for us to pay for 3 to 7 disadvantaged children in Kenya, Uganda and Lesotho to go to school for their entire 5-year secondary education! As their charity partner, their customers could continue to donate to Rafiki Thabo at any point moving forward. We are so excited to learn from their team that they love to continue their work and fundraise for us into the future.
